hello
im a new to all of this
i tried reading
http://wiki.openvz.org/Traffic_shaping_with_tc
but couldn't even understand the mechanism
i apologize but i want by commands
how for example to limit the connection speed of vps 101 to 10mbit/sec which has the ip 56.1.1.1.20 while the hardware node has the ip of 56.1.1.1.1

Hi,

Sorry but I'm not a big helper in this question but as I can see from wiki page we can limit
1. outgoing bandwidth
2. incoming bandwidth

and I suppose that in that examples we limit both of them to 256 kbit.

the problem is that im a begginer and couldn't understand the wiki
so i hope that somebody can spend type to help me with exact commands to limit one vps to 10 mbit/sec in+out
