Hello,

I orded new hardware in softlayer. Single CPU 2.4Ghz / 8GB RAM / 73GB SCSI 15k (rapid disk).

Server is online have 7 days with openvz, no VM.

If i atempty create VM, hardware stop.

This problem i have in other 2 news hardware with disk SATA.

I instaled last version kernel and hypervm.

Kernel is 2.6.9-023stab044.4

Yhis problem have if i use OSTEMPLATE created in other hardware with openvz/hypervm.

What sugestion?

Add reply:

Hardware stop if OSTEMPLATE is large.

Example: I created ostemplate from VM, size 1.5GB and restaured in new hardware. Hardware stoped in create. I deleted large logs and created OSTEMPLATE again. Size is 450Mb. I restore normal in new hardware, hardware no stop.

Because large OSTEMPLATE stop hardware?

I have this problem in 2 new hardwares. Use RHEL4 64
