Hi,

i've just installed few VE using openvz, and like usual, added some monitoring for allocated ressources.

One problem occurs: i have a VE running MySQL and the memory usage show 100%.
free -m show :
Mem: 281 281 0 0 0 0
-/+ buffers/cache: 281 0
Swap: 0 0 0

Even if i increase the ressources (privmpages, oom, vmguar, etc), the amount of available memory is still 281Mb and is still used at 100%

The config for this VE is the same as another that i use in production on a similar hardware and software, and the other on does not show this "weird" behaviour.

Does anybody have an idea?

thanks

Hi,

I think You should to restart your VPS, please do it. Is 'free -m' output still weird?
But it is not expected behavior. I'll try to investigate this issue.

Thank You!

after VE restart, the ressources are well accounted. However, the huge load average problem remains.
