Hi there,

I need to test OpenVZ on one of our servers. So I installed RHEL5 on a HN and installed the vz packages through yum. And vz service is already running Smile.

Now I would like to install an OS template, RHEL5 if possible. But I can't find it. So where is it? Otherwise is it easy to create it?

Thanx in advance for any reply,

Jean-Michel.

OK, thank you for the reply. I'm going to 1) check what RH says about OpenVZ and 2) use CentOS 5 for VPSs if not possible with RH. In this last case, why not using it for the host OS as well...

jmelyn-

I created one a few months back. I recently installed it on a CentOS 5 server and it works great. I would think it would also work well on RHEL5.

Thank you very much Steve. Actually I have installed CentOS5.1 as the HN OS and as VN OS. It works fine!

I just need now to read the manual in order to optimize the two installations (HN and VN) and make adapted images.

Thank you again to this forum. It saved me hours!
