Hi,

Looks like the problem in your DNS server.
Please check that you set suitable DNS to your VPS.
Look at vzctl's --nameserver parameter.

Can you ping any host from inside the VPS using hosts's IP?
If no please do the same experiment but ping anything using it IP.
