Hi!
I tried once the community supported gutsy template, but it had several problems, so I didn't use it. Now I read, that there is an official gutsy template, so I tried that too. It's working fine, but there are hundreds of error messages in syslog:
Jan 9 20:17:17 phoenix init: Error on control socket: Socket operation on non-socket
Jan 9 20:17:48 phoenix last message repeated 279401 times
Jan 9 20:18:49 phoenix last message repeated 551851 times
Jan 9 20:19:50 phoenix last message repeated 553643 times
In former template versions, this was caused by the upstart daemon, which replaced the old init system. The question is, is there a known solution to this? The system is working perfectly, but it is quite "ugly" to see theese error messages flooding my syslog.
Update: Well, after all, I see, that not everything is fine, because the services doesn't start up automatically when the VPS starts up. Any ideas?
