Live CD ISO images for Download not found [message #25594]

Hello,

The Live CD of Knoppix (5.1.1) or CentOS (4.4) seems to be a good idea to test out OpenVZ as well. I found the download page on this site:

http://wiki.openvz.org/Download_live_CD

But, when I tried to download either the CentOS or Knoppix ISO image, the file cannot be found. Any ideas? Could someone check to see if the server is down?

The links seems to have been screwed up by the wiki, but I don't know exactly how to fix it.

Thanks for the links! Downloaded the CentOS iso file okay.

I can see that the links to the files on the wiki are bad. Somehow it added http://download.openvz.org/ infront of the good URL. But, I'm not sure how to fix them either.

It also mentions that the images are available directly from http://download.openvz.org/livecd/, which is the URL given. I should have tried that.

After making sure the md5 checksum is good, I burned the CentOS Live CD and rebooted my machine. CentOS came up with the boot screen. I hit Enter to continue with the default. The booting proceded (with the dots)... The CD Drive turned for a while and then it went dead.

Trying with other kernel at boot: prompt with the same problem. This is dispointing. I even tried on another PC but still the same.

I'll download the Knoppix image to try OpenVZ instead.
