Hi All,
I would appreciate if anyone can share how they are using NTP to synchronize OVZ environment - Both Hardware Node and VE's...
I find that all my VE's have bad timing including HN. I am not using any NTP services right now. Few question I'd like answered:

Should the NTP server be installed on the hardware node? Or, should I setup a NTP server in a dedicated VPS and have all VE sync with that VPS?

I thought all VE should get the same clocking from the HN - Is that correct?

I would appreciate any comments/suggestions and pointers to any doc's on setting up NTP properly with OpenVZ.

Joe

You should use ntpd on the HN and the VE should get the time from there.
