Hi,

I searched around and found no solution for my question:

I've got an HP-scanner which can be accessed via hplip.
Currently it will be shown in HE as
~# lsusb
Bus 006 Device 006: ID 03f0:4f11 Hewlett-Packard

How to make it accessible within the VE? (Yes I've read the http://wiki.openvz.org/Printing_in_VE_with_Debian_stable Wink

OK... moving little steps further...

The usb-Device is connected to /dev/bus/usb/006/006
ls -al /dev/bus/usb/006/006
crw-rw-r-- 1 root root 189, 645 2007-12-10 21:19 /dev/bus/usb/006/006

So I created such device using mknod within VE.
Added DEVICES="c:189:645:rw " to the config.

I get no access to the device:
cat /dev/bus/usb/006/006
cat: /dev/bus/usb/006/006: Permission denied
