hello
excuse me, i have a problem in installing
i do appreciate if anyone help me, it's very neccessary
i cant install : yum install vzctl vzquota

see :

datacenter's support team have updated kernel but again i have problem ,
can anyone install this for me? i do appreciate if if anyone help me

Hello.

First of all - do you need this packet at all? i mean lksctp-tools.
Probably the simplest way is just to remove it. Smile

But in case you need it you can try to take this package from newer distributive version (CentOS 5?) and try to install it. As CentOS 5 runs 2.6.18 kernel it has to include a proper lksctp-tools.

rpm -e lksctp-tools (unless you use it).

Description:

This is the lksctp-tools package for Linux Kernel SCTP Reference
Implementation.

This package is intended to supplement the Linux Kernel SCTP Reference
Implementation now available in the Linux kernel source tree in
versions 2.5.36 and following. For more information on LKSCTP see the
package documentation README file, section titled "LKSCTP - Linux
Kernel SCTP."

This package contains the base run-time library & command-line tools.
