Hello,
I disabled a VE. I am not able to start it.That is fine. But if I try to restart it, then that node become up and running.
----------------------
# vzlist |grep 124
124 3 running host.com
# grep -i disabled /etc/vz/conf/124.conf
DISABLED="no"
# vzctl set 124 --disabled yes --save
Saved parameters for VE 124
# grep -i disabled /etc/vz/conf/124.conf
DISABLED="yes"
# vzctl stop 124 force
Stopping VE ...
VE was stopped
VE is unmounted
# vzctl start 124
VE start disabled
# vzlist -a |grep 124
124 - stopped - host.com
# vzctl restart 124
Restarting VE
Starting VE ...
VE is mounted
Setting CPU units: 1000
Set hostname: host.com
VE start in progress...
# vzlist -a |grep 124
124 3 running host.com

I tested in kernel 2.6.9 to 2.6.22 . Tested OS's are Centos4.5 , Centos5 , Fc4, FC5 and FC6
So the question , is "disabled" option useful or not ?
