I don't know where post it. Maybe in Discussions or in HowTo it will be more correct.

In usual way of using nmap I get this:
# nmap 172.168.0.3
Starting nmap 3.90 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2005-10-15 22:52 MSD
Note: Host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking our ping probes, try -P0
Nmap finished: 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 0.227 seconds

In other combinations I get other warning and errors, and for me work next:
# nmap -sT -P0 -e venet0 -S 172.168.0.1 172.168.0.3
...
Starting nmap 3.90 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2005-10-15 22:51 MSD
Interesting ports on ...(172.168.0.3):
(The 1665 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: closed)
PORT STATE SERVICE
22/tcp open ssh
53/tcp open domain
80/tcp open http
Nmap finished: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.080 seconds

I don't know, maybe I made some thing wrong or it right way Smile
Any way, hope it will be helpfull for somebody.
