I think that there is some kind of bug in the current version. The --devnodes/--devices switch works but the settings are not saved.

They are saved to the *.conf file (e.g. DEVNODES="cciss/c0d1:rw ") for the appropriate VPS but if you stop and restart the VPS, you cannot access the block devices (tested with /dev/cciss/c0d1). If you set the permissions with vzctl again everything works.
