Nope, the host was not rebooted.
All I find in vzctl.log is a series of entries like this for each VPS:
2006-03-23T04:30:13+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : Setting CPU limit: 0
2006-03-23T04:30:13+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : Setting CPU units: 2000
2006-03-23T04:30:13+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : WARNING: Settings were not saved and will be resetted to original values on next start (use --save flag)
Then they are all reported as stopped/unmounted:
2006-03-23T04:30:20+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : VPS was stopped
2006-03-23T04:30:20+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : VPS is unmounted
And finally they all restart again:
2006-03-23T04:32:28+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : Starting VPS ...
2006-03-23T04:32:28+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : VPS is mounted
2006-03-23T04:32:28+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : Adding IP address(es): xx.xx.xx.xx
2006-03-23T04:32:31+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : Setting CPU units: 1000
2006-03-23T04:32:31+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : Set hostname: nhvsrv206.somedomain.at
2006-03-23T04:32:31+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : File resolv.conf was modified
2006-03-23T04:32:31+0100 vzctl : VPS 206 : VPS start in progress...
This is repeated for each of the five VPS (first all of them go through the shutdown, then all of them are reported as stopped, then all of them are restarted).
I will see what happens today.

Wolf
