		Hi,

I'm setting up new openvz host node.
I have 4G RAM + 6G swap area, when I launch vzsplit -n 20 I receive
the following message Fatal resource shortage, try to decrease the number of VEs.

What should I adjust to make vzsplit working ?

Thanks in advance!

		Hi!

i guess you use 2.6.20-x or 2.6.22-x kernel (please, specify it next time, as well as vzsplit owner package's version).

The root of the problem is that vzsplit uses LowTotal value taken from /proc/meminfo which is absent in 2.6.2x-x kernels.

Please, take a look at bugs:
http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=702
http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=655

Thank you for the report.
As a workaround you can temporarily install an older kernel (for example - RHEL5 based 2.6.18-x) and run vzsplit. This should work.

If your problem is solved - please, report it!
It's even more important than reporting the problem itself...
