Hi All, I've downloaded the ubuntu precreated OS template. While install an application that requires crontab I've come to learn that the package was not part of the OS template. I try to install it apt-get install crontab and I get error:
root@mx1:# apt-get install crontab
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package crontab

My /etc/apt/source.list seems to be fine as I'm able to update and install other packages. Below is my sources.list anyway:

deb-src http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper main restricted
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper-updates main restricted
deb-src http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper-updates main restricted
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper multiverse universe main restricted

Any toughts? Thanks in advance for any help with this!

Joe

Hi,

are you mean "crontab" to setup cron entries ?
It's installed in package cron.
