swapping is handled by the HN; the proc/meminfo file is adjusted by the meminfo option to vzctl and it seems swap is not adjustable, so it just displays 0. in the VE context, you do not know or have control over how much of your memory is in physical memory and in disk swap. it could all be in one or the other, or in both. The VE is clueless about where its memory is actually stored.
