hi
i have some problem with ve's i installed cpanel on them!!
about 2 day after ve restart some of vps servicess dont working correct and i get 404 error when i have to login to cpanel/whm
when i reboot the ve all go up and cpanel working well

is there any reason for this? is this a ram ? ve have 512mb of ram and 50% of a pentium D 2.8 cpu!

Can you be more specific about the problem? Any UBC failcnts?

Apache 404 error is unlikely to be an openvz related problem, have you checked apache's log files?

Overall, it sounds like application level problems and you should start troubleshooting the system by analyzing the syslog files as you duplicate the problems.

i got this error when i had to login to ve:

always the first thing to check whenever there is a problem.

nope..
i got this error : Too many open files in system.

but ve used about 300mb of memory!!
the memory of this ve is 256 and brust is 512...

how can i calculation best numfile no. for ve!?
at the other hand how much is good for a ve with 256 mb of ram and cpanel!

i optimized the mysql too.
now cpanel dont working.
browser cant find the address: <IP>/whm
when i run the command :
service cpanel restart

all come online again!!

i reinstalled the cpanel but it dont helped!!

nano /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts/vzid.conf

change -- dcachesize --

DCACHESIZE="3145728:3145728"


then save

and type it again

vzcfgvalidate /etc/vz/conf/102.conf
