Can not suspend VE with udev in 028stab039 [message #16497]

Hi , I get the following Known error on 028stab039 kernel
but http://wiki.openvz.org/Migration_fails#Problem_.232
states that this is fixed in 028stab035 or newer kernels
Of course if i disable udev in the VE checkpointing works ok.
But i would realy like to use udev in the VE.

Live migrating VE
    Suspending VE
Setting up checkpoint...
        suspend...
Can not suspend VE: Device or resource busy
file on unsupported FS: magic 0bad1dea
Checkpointing failed
Error:  Failed to suspend VE

Yes but according to http://wiki.openvz.org/Migration_fails#Workaround_2
starting from 028stab035 it is fixed, while i use 028stab039?

Hello Alexander,

thank you for bugreport. It looks like current information on wiki is incorrect and this bug is still present in our kernels.

I've created new bug:

You can add yourself into bug's cc: and watch the changes.

Also I have several questions. Could you please provide us exact kernel version? And do you probably know how this issue could be reproduced?

The kernel is 2.6.18-openvz-028stab039, both the VE and HN are gentoo linux. And it is reproduced just by enabling udev instead
of static files under /dev

Alex,

At the present moment we have fixed this issue 028stab035 version of _rhel5_ based 2.6.18 kernels. Unfortunately we have forget to update mainstream-based kernels too.
