Hello,

I have a server on a strangely set up network. Limitations are that I cannot adjust anything outside of my server. All IPs are public.

I have a /31 block of IPs, the router at 1.1.1.169, my host at 1.1.1.170. My host needs to respond to arp requests on behalf of all the VEs IPs, the router at 1.1.1.169 expects that those IPs are on the same wire as my host.

The problem is that those IPs are not on the same subnet as my host/that router. If I assign 2.2.2.8 to eth0, I can ping it via the internet. If I assign 2.2.2.8 to a VE, I can ping it from the hardware node but not from the internet. Any ideas on how to make this work short of using tap devices and a bridge?

Thanks

Nevermind... seemed to have figured it out.
Something was disabling ip forwarding after everything came up, not entirely sure what but I'm pretty sure it isn't Vz's fault...
