Last year we all met for breakfast at OLS. Now we've all pretty much
all already met so maybe it's less exciting, but do people (who will be
at OLS) care to meet for breakfast on the thursday or friday?

My apologies, but I won't be able to visit OLS this year :/
I think Kirill Kolyshkin and Denis Lunev will be glad to meet you again!
Hope Pavel Emelianov will be able to join as well.

Thanks,
Kirill

OK for me, if i can skip the pancakes with tons of cream and jam.

I take it based on Cedric's culinary requirements we should not try the
same place again? :) I'm staying at the hotel indigo, across from the
ols venue, so naturally it would be really really convenient for me if
the restaurant in there would be good. Dave or Cedric can you report
back on Wednesday on the quality?

Any other suggestions on a place?

Good idea! Sorry for so late reply...better late than never.

Let's decide on the exact time/place. As I understand western style
breakfast is not an option :) What about a tea/coffee house then? I was
able to find two shops:

<http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=en&q=coffee&near=130+Besserer+Ottawa,+Ottawa,+ON,+Canada+%28Les+Suites+H%C3%B4tel+Ottawa%29+%4045.426940,-75.687929&sll=45.426941,-75.687927&sspn=0.088911,0.143166&ie=UTF8&latlng=45427242,-75689419,7510665299832109294&ei=HcV3RtiXJYig2ALBheSWDw&cd=2>*
Second Cup, 171 Rideau Street (100 m away from Les Suites)
* Starbucks, 47 Rideau Street (400m away)

If that sounds too boring, here is a couple of links for more places in
the area:
http://www.byward-market.com/directory/restaurants.htm

Cedric, you were the one with the culinary requirements,
so why don't you choose one of the above :)

I couldn't tell whether second cup actually has food... If so
that's fine with me.

OK, looks like we came to the consensus and our so-called "annual
containers breakfast at OLS" (TM) event will happen tomorrow (Thursday)
morning, at 8:30am, Starbucks cafe near the Rideau Centre.

Again
Time: 8:30am Tuesday 28 June
Place: Starbucks, 47 Rideau Street
Map: http://tinyurl.com/2hcrjt

I have tried to add most of the people to To: list directly -- in case I
forgot somebody please feel free to add them or forward this email to
them. Meet you there!

Regards,
  Kir.

I went there today and it's a small place. It's fine to have a coffee
standing and talking.

see you there,
