I am trying to install OpenVZ, but am getting the following error when it boots into the ovz kernel:

request_module: runaway loop modprobe binfmt-464c

Most of the references that I have found online say that CONFIG_BINFMT_ELF needs to be set within the kernel, but the configs of the prebuilt kernels appear to already have it set.

Do I need to rebuild the kernel from source? If so, what configs need to be changed?

Platform: Dell PowerEdge SC1420
Base OS: Fedora Core 4 64-bit
Processor: 1 Xeon 64-bit
CERC 6-Channel SATA RAID Controller

I have tried all 3 of the prebuilt kernels, all with the exact same error.

Thanks in advance!

I suppose this happens due to 32bit kernel on 64bit OS.
we do not provide prebuilt EMT64 kernel yet.
Current kernel can be compiled 64bit with some changes, and I hope it will be compilable without any problems in a week or so.
