My company tested the full product a few months ago with little success regarding support for it. We thought we might consider OpenVZ as a replacement for ESX but would prefer to run the virtualization system on a Windows Platform. Is this doable? I'd rather not use Linux if possible?

Is the OpenVZ platform crippled in any way from the commercially available version?

OpenVZ only supports linux. If you'd like to have Windows Support, you should look at Openvz's commercial offering, Virtuozzo.

Please read the manual before asking questions:

Please have a look at the wiki before asking questions:

If you are wanting to run Windows on Windows, the Windows version of Virtuozzo will work nicely.

If you are wanting to run Linux no Windows, ummmm... no... it doesn't work like that.
