Hi,
when I try to use commands like vzpkgcache or vzyum I am facing the problem:

[root@symson ~]# vzyum 604 install sendmail
ERROR: RPM python path not found: /usr/share/vzpkgtools/vzrpm43/lib/python2.5/site-packages
[root@symson ~]#


HN: Fedora Core 7
Kernel: 2.6.18-8.1.4.el5.028stab035.1 #1 SMP

zone 604 has been created with centos-4-i386-default template.

Please help me.

Hello Ganesh,

FC7 uses python-2.5 that currently is not supported by vzrpm-python

I've filed following bug, you can check it's status

has anyone been able to compile the vzrpm package on FC7 (with Python 2.5) yet?

I have the same problem. Looks like this is an old problem. Does anyone know a workaround to get vzyum and vzpkgcache to work on fc7 or python 2.5?
