Hi.
I have a 3Ware 8006-2LP controller in my system, and have installed OpenVZ, I'm not a beginner in the slightest.
Now the kernel doesn't have a driver for this card, and by looking through the configurations I can only see an entry for the 9xxx card.
Does anyone know the entry for an 8xxx card so that I can custom compile the kernel so that the 3Ware Disk Management utility will work.

Hello Chris,
could you please post `lspci` and `lspci -n` output for this controller?
It will be also useful if you know any kernel which does support this controller.

It was working on the default CentOS 4.5 x64 kernel, 2.6.9-55.ELsmp.
I just wanted to see if there is a workaround, 3dm at the moment outputs.
