When using vzyum (with any command... update, install, whatever), I get this as an error:
/usr/share/vzpkgtools/vzrpm44/lib/python2.3/site-packages/rp m/_rpmmodule.so: cannot handle TLS data

I can't find any answers anywhere about it. I've been looking for about an hour on Google and on the forums here.

By the way, I used the binary install of vzyum and vzrpm44, not the RPM or sources.

Does anyone know anything about this error? I haven't figured it out yet. Thanks!

root@elyssa:~# vzyum 1001 -y update
exec /usr/share/vzyum/bin/yum -c /vz/template/fedora-core/4/i386/config/yum.conf --installroot /vz/root/1001 --vps=1001 -y update
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

   /usr/share/vzpkgtools/vzrpm44/lib/python2.3/site-packages/rpm/_rpmmodule.so: cannot handle TLS data

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.3.1 (#1, Sep 24 2003, 16:45:45)
[GCC 3.2.3]

If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please send this
message to <yum@lists.linux.duke.edu>.

Try this, in the hw node, not in the ve:

mv /lib/tls /lib/tls.bak

(By the way, I don't have this problem anymore... I wiped the server and started over fresh with Debian instead and it's working nicely. I can't test any potential fixes.)
