Hi,
There is weird behavior with some of my openvz servers, regarding time.
[root@ve~]# date
Thu Jul 12 06:59:15 EDT 2007
One log entry in maillog:
Jul 12 14:46:06 ve sm-msp-queue[30376]: starting daemon (8.13.1): queueing@01:00:00
Funny thing is that if I use logger, the date is OK.
Jul 12 07:00:26 vz01 ugob: hello!
Any ideas on how to diagnose this?
Thanks,
Ugo

Hi,
I found that there was
TZ='America/Montreal'; export TZ
in /etc/profile
of most of my VZ running on that server.
I deleted this line, restarted sendmail, same problem.
I restarted the VE, same problem,
I restarted the HN, same problem.
I remember playing with TZ in my beginnings with OpenVZ, because the clock wasn't set correctly, I think.
Thanks,
Ugo
