What template is your VE based on? Please, post a direct link.

Is it that one:
http://download.openvz.org/template/precreated/debian-4.0-i3 86-minimal.tar.gz
md5sum: c77e7df3b9d2c371a4f2edac2b7ab8cc

Thanks,
Vasily

Hello, I was able to reproduce the problem on my local node.

While installing kde-core package, udev package is installed because of dependencies. In its postinstall script this package writes to /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug file, what is prohibited inside VE. I suggest you the following workaround: just comment the line 125 in /var/lib/dpkg/info/udev.postinst file. After that udev will install smoothly.

One more thing. Udev requires sysfs filesystem, so don't forget to add this filesystem to VE:
vzctl set 189 --features "sysfs:on" --save

HTH,
Vasily

The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly.
-----------------------------------------------------
and
when i start a command "konsole" inside the nxclient

DCOP communicantions error (Konsole)
There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
Could not open network socket

Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

Unfortunately I've never worked with nxclient, but I have started some X applications inside VE (firefox and others). So I can assume from this experience, what can cause your problems. Probably failcounters are not clean in VE (`cat /proc/user_beancounters`)?

Thanks,
Vasily.
