Hallo peon,

dies sollte eigentlich ohne porbleme funken! Die Frage ist nur ob du überhautp ip connectivity Richtung Internet aus deiner VPS hast! Kannst du z.B. google.de anpingen oder auch eine Domainabfrage mittels dig oder nslookup durchführen?

Mit gentoo habe ich bis jetzt noch keine Erfahrung, aber am einfachste ist es, wenn du deine Config von der VPS, deine Kernel-Version, ip-config postest.
