Problem with vzdump.....
check this out any help would be great
# vzlist
VEID NPROC STATUS IP_ADDR HOSTNAME
1 45 running
2 55 running
4 50 running
32 64 running
34 51 running
50 45 running
55 45 running
56 50 running
57 48 running
58 50 running
1000 54 running
(i blanked ips and hostnames
# vzdump --dumpdir /tmp -stop 2
ERROR: strange VPS ID '2'
only works for vps 1000

Hello.
This is not a bug, but feature. According to OpenVZ User's Guide http://download.openvz.org/doc/OpenVZ-Users-Guide.pdf page 32 (Choosing private server ID):
"... OpenVZ reserves the IDs ranging from 0 to 100. Though OpenVZ uses only ID 0, different versions might use additional Virtual Private Servers IDs for internal needs. To facilitate upgrading, please do not create Virtual Private Servers with IDs below 101. ..."
So, VEs should be renumbered according to the requirement.
