HI
i'm facing a serious problem ... when i run free command for example in the virtualized server it shows the total memory of the host
is there anyway to make somekind of isolation for a virtualized sever and then assign high values in the <veid>.conf file (max values) in all fileds

Hi,

at the moment you must do it manually, but it will be a default in the next vzctl release, setting meminfo to privvmages:1

Set total memory of VE to privvmpages:

VE0# vzctl set <VEID> --meminfo privvmpages:1 [--save]

One small note to the message from curx:
/proc/meminfo has nothing to do with real memory isolation Smile
/proc/user_beancounters in VE0 displays real VE limits.
