I have been reading quite a bit into openvz and unless I am misunderstood openvz can work with vlan's.

My question is as follows, we use all cisco appliances, if I were to trunk over a line to the box we are using for openvz could I have different OE's run on different vlan's just by changing a setting?

Please let me know if you need any additional information or If I am completely off base here.

Thanks for your help,

-Jim

yes its possible.

http://wiki.openvz.org/Source_based_routing

the source would be your vlan (host addys assigned to ve) and gateway that of the cisco.
