Hi there!

Just popping in to let everyone know how the GlassFish open source java application server installs and works flawlessly in an OpenVz VE.
We run it on Debian Etch, where aptitude installs the 1.5 jdk, then the binary installer for GlassFish does the rest.

Thank you for the information! We're happy to hear that your experience with OpenVZ is pleasant. I want to ask you, when you'll have time, please, post a small article at wiki.openvz.org in HOWTO section about installing and working with GlassFish in OpenVZ.

I'll do it if you think it makes sense, but the real point is I had to do nothing special: I installed just like I did on a standalone debian system.
