I have smbfs enabled in the kernel of the HW. smbfs module is modprobed and smbfs visible in /proc/filesystems. I can't however mount a smb share inside a VE and no smbfs visible in /proc/filesystems of VE. There's no feature (set --feature smbfs:on) called smbfs. Didnt find much on google either.

Anyone battled with this?

Thanks in advance

smbfs is not virtualized (like nfs), so it's impossible to use it directly from VE. You can mount smbfs on HN and then create a bind mount inside VE.
