Any idea when 2.6.20 kernels for Debian will be available? I noticed over at http://wiki.openvz.org/Download_kernel_2.6.20 that RPMs are already available and I can (for the time being), just download the kernel and patch it, but it would be nice to have deb packages as well. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I was able to successfully compile a vanilla 2.6.20 kernel with the 2.6.20 OpenVZ patch. However, when I tried to reboot and use it, it kept complaining about not being able to access /sys/block/sda/dev. So I recompiled the kernel with the necessary SATA support and was able to pass this error in the boot. However, it would freeze during the boot process with the following message:

BUG: Null Watchdot detected (OCKVP on CPU0, cip c0403bb3, registers:
..
...
Process sh
EIP is at restore_nocheck+0x8/0xF

Any ideas? I can attach my .config if you're interested. Thank you.

This, probably, can be BUG, can you fill an appropriate record in bugzilla with all messages you have?

Thanks,
Vasily.
