Всем привет.

Скачал темплейт debian-4.0-sparc-minimal.tar.gz создал VE , запускаю .

Unable to start init, probably incorrect template
VE start failed
Stopping VE ...
VE was stopped
VE is unmounted

init вроде есть

ls -l /vz/private/11000/sbin/*ini*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 36172 Sep 10 2006 /vz/private/11000/sbin/init
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Apr 13 12:08 /vz/private/11000/sbin/telinit -> init

кто сталкивался с проблемой ?

дальше больше
cd /vz/private/11000/sbin
./init
bash: ./init: cannot execute binary file

У нас этот темплейт работает. Возможно, он у вас криво (не до конца) распаковался, или что-то другое?

Попробуйте так:
chroot /vz/private/11000 /sbin/init

или так
chroot /vz/private/11000 /bin/sh


Если ничего не помогает, попробуйте создать темплейт самостоятельно:

А что, кстати, показывает uname -a?

Пока ещё i686 архитектура не научилась запускать бинарники от Sun Sparc. Это темплейт для SPARC, не для x86.
