It seems as if the CPU limits are not working, i have set one VPS to not be able to use more than one CPU by using

cpus =1
cpulimit = 100 however the cpu has still gone over from what i can see.

I have a dual Core Xeon.

What data are you looking at and drawing this conclusion? Be specific, for example:

When I look at data "XXXXXXXXXX", I see value "YYY" which should be less then "ZZZZ" according to my current understanding of the VZ cpu scheduler.



Also, send us "vzcpucheck -v", "grep CPU /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts/*.conf", "vzlist -a"

With all of that, we can understand how your cpu is distributed.

Fixed the problem, was me working out equations incorrectly.
