Please, create a new thread for this error, because the subject changed. In addition to the statement of the problem, add there the following information:

1) OS template you're using for problematic VE
2) `ls -l /vz/private/<veid>/sbin/init` output
3) What you see if you run /vz/private/<veid>/sbin/init manually from the node.

Hello,

if I start the VE, i become the following error message:

"Unable to start init, probably incorrect template"

The server has AMD Athlon 64 processor.

Here the answers:

1-) OS Template: debian-3.1-x86_64-minimal.tar.gz
( http://download.openvz.org/template/precreated/debian-3.1-x8 6_64-minimal.tar.gz)

2, 3-) There is no private directory under vz.
(Only /etc/vz/ conf, names, dists, vz.conf)

Thank you..
Kutschka

If there is no /vz/private directory, its unlike that you have any VEs created in your system. Any problems after this are a consequence of not having a VE.

Did you create a VE based on the template using "vzctl create " already?

Hello,

Please, post here the output of the following commands:

# uname -a
# grep -r VE_PRIVATE /etc/vz/vz.conf
# grep -r VE_PRIVATE /etc/vz/conf/

Thank you,
Vasily

Hello,
there was no "/vz/private" directory, instead of that the was "/var/lib/vz/private".

I installed the system new. Everything, master server too, and then openvz. Now I can create VE's without any problems. I dont know what wass the problem.

However I have some other question, will ask them with a new thread..

Thank you.
