The new 022stab064.1 source patch (against vanilla 2.6.8 kernel) seems to cause "check_stack_overflow" in irq.c line 145.
When using the .config from my previous *working* OpenVZ kernel, it gets that error. When starting a .config from scratch, it also fails. I've set and unset and reset every single option in the menuconfig and it's still failed with the same error. But using the previous patch instead works just fine.
The exact error I get is:
