Hi
After some hours of working I have this line in user_beancounters.

privvmpages 81587 126708 131072 131072 24

But how can it be? the max held is smaller that both barrier and limit.

Regards Flemming

Hello,

Look, it easily can happen:
Suppose at the moment maxheld = 126708.
Then you run some process, which tries to allocate 4365 pages.
126708 + 4365 = 131073 pages > 131072 pages, so this allocation fails and we have a failcounter, but maxheld is still 126708 pages.

HTH,
Vasily.
